YouTube allows you to reach new customers in a relatable way and you have several options when it comes to advertising on YouTube. It is a relatively low cost program idea and you can chose what works best for you, your company and your brand. First, you can make sure your videos all have some sort of call-to-action. For example, you make sure viewers know you release videos like this every week so be sure to subscribe, or you ask viewers to visit your Facebook page for exciting savings, coupons, contests and/or information, whatever works best for you. First, you need to feature your videos in an in-search ad campaign (marketing campaign) and this will enable the call-to-action overlay for your videos—be sure to turn off monetization for the video you are promoting. After you include your video in an advertising campaign, you can go to the “Info&Setttings” section of the video and you will find the call-to-action overlay section.  You have to fill in your information and make sure you click on the: “Enabled on mobile” square. YouTube provides several tutorials to help you get started or at least give you additional ideas and you can get inspired by other successful businesses—the ideas listed above are for all businesses to get started.

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
