Which account is my mobile phone associated with? – Twitter

Read this article if:

  • You have sent Start repeatedly to your carrier’s short code, but are not receiving any messages.
  • You receive Twitter notifications on your phone but don’t remember which Twitter account your phone is associated with.
  • While trying to add your phone via SMS, you accidentally created a new Twitter account by typing SIGNUP instead of your username.

To find out which Twitter account your phone is connected to:

  1. Navigate to twitter.com on a computer.
  2. Click on the Activate your account link located on the home page as shown below.
  3. Enter your phone number when directed, along with the country code.
  4. If your phone number is linked to a Twitter account, we’ll send your phone a text message containing a verification code. Use this code to confirm that the mobile number belongs to you.
  5. On the following page, Twitter will ask you to complete your Twitter profile. Your username will already be filled in. That username belongs to the same account your phone is tied to.

Possible errors:

  • If your number is connected to an account and you’ve already logged in on twitter.com before, the steps above will prompt you to log in with your username and email instead.
  • If your mobile number is not connected to any Twitter accounts, you’ll see an error message.

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
