Favoriting a Tweet

What is a favorite?

Favorites, represented by a small star icon in a Tweet, are most commonly used when users like a Tweet. Favoriting a Tweet can let the original poster know that you liked their Tweet, or you can save the Tweet for later.

To mark a Tweet as a favorite:

  1. Make sure you are signed in to Twitter.
  2. Hover over the Tweet you’d like to favorite.
  3. Click on the star icon and it will turn gold, confirming that you’ve favorited the Tweet.
  4. You can also favorite a Tweet from a user’s profile page and a Tweet’s permalink page.
Note: If you mark Tweets from users with protected profiles as favorites, the update will not appear in the Favorites tab on your profile page (unless the viewer is an approved follower of the Tweet’s author).

To undo or remove a favorite:

  1. Make sure you are signed in to Twitter.
  2. Find the Tweet you favorited (the star icon will be gold).
  3. Click on the star icon to undo the favorite.

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
