BroadbandTV Cuts Exclusive Deal with YouTube Analytics Site Social Blade
BroadbandTV, one of the largest multi-channel networks on YouTube, is partnering with YouTube analytics site Social Blade to supply data and services to its community of users.
One of the more popular YouTube analytics engines around, Social Blade provides creators with all sorts of data about their YouTube channels, including stats on subscribers, territories, and estimated ad revenue. The platform is updated hourly, and is available to all for free.
Now with the exclusive BroadbandTV deal, Social Blade users will have access to BroadbandTV’s tools and services for video creators, including various creative and production services, ad sales and branded entertainment support, and access to the company’s “Partner Experience” team. Social Blade users will also be able plug into BroadbandTV’s Viso Catalyst dashboard, which offers creators a way to optimize and promote their channels and videos.
Other initiatives planned by the companies include an educational program and meet-ups for creators.
“We’re combining our expertise in video optimisation and engagement, and joining forces with the largest open analytics player to provide even greater solutions,” said Shahrzad Rafati, founder and CEO of BroadbandTV, in a statement. “Together, we will further develop tools that solve real problems for the online video industry.”
Of note: Social Blade used to have an exclusive partnership with Maker Studios, a rival MCN on YouTube, according to a spokesperson for BroadbandTV.
Headquartered in Vancouver, BroadbandTV is one of several digital video companies under the RTL Group umbrella. The company claims that it serves four billion monthly impressions across its network of 32,000+ creators.
