Triple-Digit Growth for YouTube MCN ‘Omnia Media’

Omnia Media’s recent talent signings have taken the YouTube MCN to over 1.5 billion monthly views and 80 million subscribers in just two years, it has said.

The increased audience represents 149% growth year-over-year, and 50% growth in total subscribers for the multichannel network (MCN). In the last 30 days, Omnia has signed talent across gaming, entertainment, beauty and music, generating collectively over 75 million monthly views on YouTube.

Key names include SparklesProduction, Fafinettex3, WackyWednesday and Yelawolf, which further extend Omnia’s reach amongst millennial audiences.

Omnia’s Emerge division, which focuses on social network engagement, has signed over 140 new ‘influencers’ across Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Facebook, Pinterest and Snapchat.

“Over the past two years, our company has evolved from a single-vertical, single-platform business into a multi-platform, diversified network and the last remaining independent MCN,” said Tamoor Shafi, CEO of Omnia. “We have become one of the most powerful amplifiers of compelling, talented voices in the industry, and our accelerating growth enables us to capitalize on emerging market trends and create new content in the digital content space.”

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
