Can’t sign in to channel in YouTube Capture

If you have an existing channel and you’re being prompted to create a channel when you sign in to YouTube Capture, it may be because you recently connected your YouTube channel to a Google+ page. Connecting your channel to a Google+ page allows you to switch between identities on YouTube with a single Google Account.

How to fix the issue

If you’re using version 1.5 of YouTube Capture, please try the workarounds below until the next YouTube Capture update.

  • Sign in directly to the Google+ page. To do this, assign a new username and password to the page. Then you can use those credentials to sign in with YouTube Capture.
  • Disconnect your channel from the Google+ page. If you connected the channel with the page in the last 14 days, you can disconnect them. You’ll then be able to sign in to YouTube Capture just as you did before connecting the page.

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
