Logging in

Learn some troubleshooting shoots for logging in.

I can’t connect to the login server

Android and iOS

Some people on Android may have trouble logging into Instagram but aren’t getting an error message.

Some people on Apple iOS may see a “Sorry, we couldn’t connect to our login server. Please confirm you have an Internet connection and try again in a moment” message when trying to log in.

Solution

If you get this error when trying to create an account or sign into your account, and you believe your internet connection is stable, we suggest that you try to reset your Wi-Fi router to resolve the issue.

If your phone has service through a carrier (ex: 3G or EDGE), we’d suggest turning off Wi-Fi and trying to connect using your service provider’s connection.

If that doesn’t help, please open your phone’s Settings and make sure your date and time have automatic settings turned on.

If these troubleshooting tips don’t help, please file a report with the following information:

  • Are you able to access https://instagram.com/accounts/edit/ from your phone’s browser?
  • Visit this website, http://www.whatismyip.com/, on the phone you’re using to access Instagram and let us know your IP address.

My account has been disabled

If your Instagram account was disabled, you’ll see a message telling you when you try to log in. Accounts that don’t follow our Community Guidelines or Terms of Use may be disabled without warning. We suggest that you review the Community Guidelines carefully along with the posts on all accounts you’ve created.

If you think your account was disabled by mistake, you may be able to appeal the decision by opening the app, entering your username and password and following the on-screen instructions.

If you don’t see a disabled message, you may be experiencing a login issue. If your account was deletedby you or someone with your password, there’s no way to restore it. You can create a new account with the same email address you used before, but you may not be able to get the same username.

I’m required to log in every time

Some people are reporting that they’re logged out of their account each time they close the app and must log in every time they open Instagram.

We’re looking into this issue. If you’re experiencing this issue on a phone other than a Samsung Infuse, please report it to us.

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
