About your channel

A channel provides a single place to organize your video content for your audience. As a channel owner, you can add videos, playlists, and information about yourself or your channel for visitors to explore.Your channel will be broken into the following areas:

  • Home is where your audience arrives when they see your channel for the first time. Here, your audience can view a feed of your activities or preview different sections containing your content if you have enabled the browse view.
  • Videos shows a list of all your public uploads and all of the videos you have publicly liked. You can filter by most popular or date added.
  • Playlists contains a list of all the playlists that you have created.
  • Discussion, if enabled in your channel navigation settings, will display comments left on your channel.
  • About lets you add a channel description (maximum length of 1000 characters), set your channel country, enter a business contact email address, and define social or other web links.Links that you add here are featured just below your description and use the icon from the corresponding social network when displayed. You can overlay up to five of these links on your channel art as shortcut icons, or favicons. Additional custom links may be entered but will only appear below your description. You are able to customize the name of the link (how it appears on your channel) when entering your links.To edit any of these items on your About tab, hover over the content, then click the edit icon .
