Watermark YouTube Thumbnails

Free customizable image watermarker used for YouTube thumbnails, Amazon key art, Instagram Posts, Facebook posts and more! The image must be a JPEG/JPG file and the watermark must be a PNG file. Use the options below to customize how you would like the watermarked image to look. Instructional steps on how to use this tool are below.

NOTE: The size of the watermarked image will be equal to the size of the input image, and the size of the watermark on the image will correspond to the watermarks original size compared to the input image’s size. This means that if the watermark is larger than the image it will cover the whole image and may be cut off. To fix any sizing issues the original image files must be resized.

3840 x 2160 pixels = 4K quality
2560 x 1440 pixels = 2K quality
1920 x 1080 pixels = Maximum resolution for HD
1280 x 720 pixels = Minimum resolution for HD
854 x 480 pixels = Standard definition
640 x 360 pixels = Traditional website resolution
426 x 240 pixels = Minimum YouTube video size

Amazon Key Art recommended sizes:

1920 x 1080 pixels
1600 x 1200 pixels
200 x 1600 pixels
Background = 1920 x 1080 pixels

Instagram Post recommended sizes:

1080 x 1080 pixels = Square Post
1080 x 556 pixels = Landscape Post
1080 x 1350 pixels = Vertical Post

Facebook Post recommended size:

1200 x 630 pixels

How to watermark an image:

  1. Upload a JPEG/JPG file into the Image Upload section.
  2. Upload a PNG file into the Watermark Upload section.
  3. Select an area of the image to watermark: Lower Right, Lower Left, Upper Right, Upper Left, or Center. Lower Right is recommended.
  4. Using the slider, from 0.05 to 1 select how opaque you would like the watermark to be. 0.05 is practically invisible and 1 is fully opaque.
  5. Hit Go! and look at the previews of your image, watermark, and new watermarked image.
    Optional: If the watermarked image is satisfactory, hit the download button under it to download to your computer. If it is not satisfactory, repeat the steps above with different parameters for different results!

Large image files may take a second to load and download.
