We are looking for a PR Intern who will be responsible for assisting with marketing and public relations in our company. The ideal candidate has a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, digital entertainment, and the world of social media influencers. They are also a strong, creative, and tenacious communicators, with a passion to take part in building the future of media with today’s most influential creators, distributors and producers. This position has a flexible in office schedule and negotiable pay structure based on experience.

Your responsibilities would Include:

  • Develop first drafts of pitches, press releases, blog posts and/or other company communications.
  • Research new key media contacts for Aux Mode and creators.
  • Track and scan all media clips.
  • Research and report on new industry trends.
  • Assist with the creation of media, events & awards.
  • Perform administrative duties and provide support as needed.
  • Produce online, social media and video content.

Your background likely includes:

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working public relations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced startup environment.
  • Ability to balance independent and team-oriented tasks (i.e., self-motivated team player).
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enrolled in a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business or Public Relations.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the YouTube, Digital Video, Ad tech marketplace and/or content and marketing strategy a plus.
  • Prior work experience in technology and/or media and/or business development a plus.
  • Understanding of social media and analytics a plus.
