TweetDeck FAQs

Why does it look like I have the same version of TweetDeck even though I downloaded and installed a new version?

While some updates are subtle and won’t necessarily change the look of your TweetDeck experience, some users have found it helpful to start by uninstalling the previous version of TweetDeck. This will ensure you install and open the correct new version.

Why aren’t my columns loading?

If your columns aren’t loading, first try signing out of TweetDeck. If you sign back in and your columns still aren’t loading, try deleting and then re-adding the column. If this doesn’t help and you are using the TweetDeck for Mac app, try updating your Safari browser.

Why am I seeing the error “unable to connect to the network” when I try to sign in?

If you are using a PC try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Close TweetDeck.
  2. Open Internet Explorer and go to https://api.tweetdeck.com.
  3. In the same window, go to https://api.twitter.com.
  4. Close IE and relaunch TweetDeck.

How do I change my email address?

If you sign in using account credentials unique to your TweetDeck account, it is not possible to change the email address associated with your account.

How do I change my password?

If you sign in using account credentials unique to your TweetDeck account, you can change your password by logging out and clicking Forgot your password? This will send a password reset email to the email address associated with the TweetDeck account.

How do I schedule a Direct Message?

TweetDeck does not support scheduled Direct Messages.

Why am I seeing Tweets from a user I blocked appear in search results?

Blocking a user on Twitter or TweetDeck does not remove this user or their Tweets from public search results. You can, however, mute a user so that you don’t see them or any of their content while logged into TweetDeck.

To do this:

  1. Click on the gear icon in the lefthand navigation menu and select Settings.
  2. In the Settings window, select the Mute tab.
  3. From the drop-down menu select User, and then type in the username of the account you wish to mute.
  4. Click Mute to finish.

Why do I see the error, “Result of expression ‘TD.ui.columns’.” when I try to sign in to my TweetDeck for Mac app?

TweetDeck for Mac uses Safari in the background. Make sure your version of Safari is up to date.

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
