How to Use YouTubeyoutube-marketing

Everyone wants to make money, and who doesn’t want to make money while sitting at home. While becoming an active user on YouTube can lead to that success and income. YouTube gets more than one billion users a month, which is a huge possible revenue stream. Start with creating your channel and before you know it you’ll be ready to monetize. Now that your channel has a following it is time to use YouTube to get traffic to your website or blog. This is especially crucial if you receive income from that blog/website. You can use your YouTube channel to increase your website’s revenue stream. Once you are set on YouTube, you can revisit some old content and adapt it into a video, expanding the possibilities of views. You should post your website in the first line of every description to ensure you funnel your followers from one platform to the other.

Similar to the idea above, if you are physically creating a product, YouTube offers numerous ways for you to promote your brand. As mentioned above, adding a link on every video guiding them to a purchasing page, will enhance sales. YouTube also offers a free communication device which allows you to simply create a video explaining any product. Affiliate marketing is when you sell other peoples products in exchange for a commision. This is another viable option on making money on YouTube. Countless companies offer healthy compensations for affiliate marketers who promote their products. To make money as an affiliate marketer, you will likely film a video reviewing the product or some sort of tutorial.

YouTube leaves you the freedom to get creative, and it would behoove you to utilize that lack of restriction. If you are on YouTube chances are you have a passion for creating content, so why not go all out and create a Web TV show. You can create a comedy series, drama, or your own talk show. YouTube does have a fifteen minute limit in length which can be increased. This is less proven than the other strategies but more personal. A YouTube persona like Rhett & Link created multiple Talk Show like shows on YouTube before lucking out and gaining fame from their everyday show Good Mythical Morning. Their effort and determination is the perfect example of how things do not always work out but in the end perseverance pays off. This leads to my next way of making money on YouTube; becoming a YouTube personality. YouTube superstars end up making a lot of money. Per every thousand views a channel receives they are rewarded with seven dollars. If a channel a billion views, the income of seven dollars per thousand views really adds up.

After you have created a series of videos you will want to join the YouTube Partner Program which allows you to receive your share of income from advertisements accompanied with your content. If you know you want to get into content creation but are not sure what it is you’ll do, tutorials are the most logical choice. If you know how to do something, you don’t think the majority of the world can, film yourself doing it and try to teach others. Tutorials are wildly popular on YouTube, as everyone wants to learn.

While YouTube has all the possibilities imaginable, it also has one hundred hours of videos uploaded every minute. This ultimately means that you are fighting for attention with thousands of other uploaders. You will need to do everything you can to make sure your videos can be located, which is done by meta data. Metadata is the information you associate with your videos. This expands from the video’s title, to tags, to the description. This could make the difference between success and failure so it is essential that you utilize each element. It is important to remember that you are a brand, and brands hold power. You can use YouTube to expose your brand but once you gain a following it is a necessity that you maintain that brand. If you are not sure what you want your brand to be, start making videos associated with your interest, you may just stumble upon something extremely profitable.

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
