YouTube Video Sharing & Marketing: Part 3 of 3

Welcome back! This blog is Part 3 of 3: YouTube Video Sharing & Marketing. In Part 2 of 2 we discussed the value of educational YouTube videos and marketing your business and/or products. Today, we will be discussing the third group of YouTube videos used to market your business, connect with viewers and keep customers coming back again and again: Funny, Entertaining Videos! However, be careful, an entertaining video is a challenge and very risky because we all find a variety of videos entertaining and this changes even more when we consider global interests and perspectives. It is said that it is most difficult for humour to continue to be entertaining across borders, to other generations, gender and in different languages. Keeping that in mind, it is not a surprise that videos with laughing babies, talented children, extraordinary animals and baby animals often go viral. It is usually suggested to businesses, especially smaller businesses, to not have entertaining YouTube videos as their primary goal to drive business and keep customers. If you are a larger company, you may want to compile a team of creative people to come up with entertaining ideas, or you may want to hire an outside company that solely works with creative think-tanks and hope for the best and a little luck. In sum, all 2 of these videos are useful for your marketing strategies and with hard work, dedication and consistency, you may be able to start with the first 2 types of YouTube videos: Educational and Informative and then after you measure your success, you can infiltrate a few entertaining, humorous videos and hope for the best. Good Luck!

$0.45 USD - $4.00 USD

Note: The accepted formula that Auxiliary Mode Inc. uses to calculate the CPM range is $0.45 USD - $25.00 USD.

The range fluctuates this much because many factors come into play when calculating a CPM. Quality of traffic, source country, niche type of video, price of specific ads, adblock, the actual click rate, watch time and etc.

Cost per thousand (CPM) is a marketing term used to denote the price of 1,000 advertisement impressions on one webpage. If a website publisher charges $2.00CPM, that means an advertiser must pay $2.00 for every 1,000 impressions of its ad. The "M" in CPM represents the Roman numeral for 1,000.
